I just started selling Avon and I want official looking business cards to pass out. I thought my adviser said the company makes them, but I can't find them on the website. Is there a fast way to get to them?

Go to your local Office supply store and buy blank business cards, use some things from your avon link and make your own on yoru computer. To add a great touch and keep your customers coming back (as I own a home business too) invest in the sticky magnet sheets and make your cards into magnets. It is cheaper than ordering from the company I promise. And you can make yours look just like theirs or customize them to what you like best!! Good luck

If you can't find it I would highly recommend Vista Print. I have my cards made through them and they are quality cards and they even run specials where you just pay for shipping and the cards are free.
They also offer many other things like postcards, brochures, stamps, etc...

I suggest that you make your own business cards yourself or you can also look online for deals on business cards.
I myself have used Vista Prints and I got 250 business cards for free but I had to pay for shipping and handling which was about $8 dollars.
The catch is that they display their ad on the back of the cards if you choose this deal, which I didn't mind at the time.
I'm pretty sure there are some other deals out there and all you have to do is research.
And if you can do them yourself, you'll save lots of money.

What sort of agency info needs to be on acting business cards?
I'm making a business card for acting and i was wondering what else needs to be on the cards besides agency phone,email,fax,address,name,zip, and web site.

Looks like you got the main info but I would add a logo or picture that represents your business for a decorative touch

I am thinking of starting a small side business and am going to be printing some business cards. Actually will be having them printed probably but I was going to go with cream background and a daisy on the corner and then my information. This will be for a at home transcription service. I think it is quite fun and tasteful

The "free" VistaPrint cards are if you agree to have their logo on the back of them. The stock is light and cheap and the registration (placement of the text and images relative to the edges of the card) is horrible. There also seems to be some issues with extra credit card charges appearing on people's bills for some kind of "rewards" program.
Never ever ever.
My best advice for you is to take your cards somewhere other than a big-box store, who tend to only carry Domtar in 65-pound cover stock, which isn't heavy enough for business cards although they insist that it is. You want 80-lb/12-point or heavier. Twelve-point stock coated on two sides, for a slight sheen finish, is a good stock for cards.
If your daisy is going to be white, a print shop with a good digital colour machine can print a cream background and leave the daisy white, which will make it really pop off the page. Ask for some test prints to make sure the cream solid doesn't look mottled (it shouldn't, but different equipment produces different results), and if you don't love it, find somewhere else.
I'm going on and on about this because it's so important to have a card you're proud of. Your business and your design sound great.

I am a designer in Kansas City who creates full color business cards, but I just don't know HOW to sell them to businesses. I go door to door to each business (hair salons, bakerys, Car Dealerships, etc.) Pretty much every store on the block.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I walk in, show them my business card compared to theirs, and explain that they are really inexpensive and personalized. I've only sold about 8 card designs in 3 months. WHY CAN'T I SELL MORE!!
It's not the designs either because people are awed by my previously made cards.

Its your sales pitch that needs improving. There are many books on the subject. I personally recommend works by Zig Ziegler. It's old, but highly effective. And you didn't mention price. I just purchased 1000 business cards on line for less than $20 which I designed myself (and yes, I am a qualified graphic artist). Can you be as competitive? Work on your sales angle and you might see more positive response. Good luck!

Do you have a business card? If so How often do you reorder business cards & how many do you order at a time?
I'm starting my own business in graphic design and are conducting some market research on business cards. I would greatly appreciate it if you could answer my questions.

I order about every three months and order 500 at a time, but my business is in marketing and direct mail so tend to send my card out quite a bit more than the average person.

Reply:I work in the legal services and Identity Theft Services industry. I usually purchase 1000 at a time. My company markets several services specific to individual markets so I also order business cards for each of those target audiences. The reason is that if Im talking to a Commercial Driver about legal services I dont want to give him a card that.has a focus on Identity Theft so I give him a card that says "COmmercial Drivers Legal Plan". If Im having a discussion about Identity Theft I dont want to give someone a card that primarily causes you to focus on lawyers. I have 3 seperate business cards and depending on who Im talking to and what we are talking about determines which card they get. I've tried it the other way (one card for every conversation) and it takes too much time explaining. I also order a different design every time I order new cards.

If you can used up 1000 copies in 3 months, you can consider printing in mass of 1000 pieces.
However if it takes year to finish the 1000 pieces, then consider printing in lower qty. You never know if you need to change the business card information or design.
