I used a template within InDesign to create a business card, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to print multiple cards on a page. Help!
How can I print multiple business cards on a page with InDesign?
I am not sure how this works in InDesign, but I have used a free program from http://www.avery.com Avery Media Maker, that is very easy to use, and probably will allow you to copy your design directly into it.
Hope this helps

My designer needs clip or stock art for a tip chart to go on the back of business cards. Where can he find it?
I am looking for stock art or clip art of a tip chart. You see them on wallet cards or business cards all the time. I want to find it in a format that a designer can take and directly work with or put on the back of a business card. I can't find it anywhere. Can you?

Can't your designer re-create it. It shouldn't take too long then you won't have to worry about royalties.
Reply:any designer that can't design their own, let alone source clip-art is NOT much of a designer.

Where can i purchase Business Cards for Canada online?
Im looking to upload my design and/or logo to a website that can make my business cards for a good price and ship them to canada without charing a ridiculous amount for the shipping. any ideas?
Where can i purchase Business Cards for Canada online?
Definitely Vistaprint. I have ordered business products from them, and they are high-quality, they let me design them myself, online, and proof them before printing. Great company to do business with. Can't say enough good about them!
Reply:www.vistaprint.ca
Reply:www.nebs.ca is the best website.
I would just do them at Kinkos.
You can also try www.vistaprint.ca

Any recommendation on a good quality printer to print business cards? what is a good dpi?
Home business cards printing. Startting up a home based business.
Any recommendation on a good quality printer to print business cards? what is a good dpi?
I recommend printing a good quality original from an Inkjet printer and making colour lazer copies of the image. The reason is colour lazer is colour fast and does not smudge or melt with moisture.
If you don't have a high quality printer there are copy and print shops that offer digital output of files. There are some shops that have direct digital file output to colour laser machines.
Colour laser offers quality and functionality to business cards.
Reply:any Canon Pixma printer. 4800x1200 and 9600x2400 are great dpi's for printing.
Reply:I recommend the Canon series of printers like the Pixma IP4300. HP, Epson, Lexmark and others make good printers too, but I prefer the Canon for a couple of reasons.
Like the Epsons and Lexmarks, the Canon has a straighter paper path making heavier card stock easier to pass through than the HP models which has a curved paper path. Many HP printers print business cards just fine, I just have had more complaints on those for card stock than any others.
Canon and Epson also have many printers that use individual ink tanks which saves you $ in the long run. If the yellow cartridge is empty, that's all you replace. The entry level HP's (under $200) and most of the Lexmarks use an ink cartridge that has all 3 colors in 1 cartridge. If the yellow runs out, you toss the remaing cyan and magenta as well. The main reason I choose Canon over Epson is that Epson pumps the ink from the tanks to a reservoir. If you don't print regularly, the reservoir will 'cake' up and eventually clog making the printer useless without replacing the expensive reservoir. Canon's individaul tanks do not do this making it the winner for me. I personally own 2 of them and sell more Canon's than the rest of the others combined in my store.
The Pixma IP4300 sells most places, including my store, for $99.99

Anyone know how to make business cards off of the computer?
I just bought the kind with 10 cards on one sheet from Wal-mart. Does anyone know how to print out business cards in Photoshop or Word? Or do I need another kind of software?
Anyone know how to make business cards off of the computer?
The cards you purchased should have a Word template. If they are avery brand as I suspect, the template can be downloaded from their website.
http://www.avery.com
Reply:In microsoft publisher in the beginning they ask you what settings you want (bday card, certificate, buissness cards, ect.) so you can choose what you want, like colors, slogans and how to put the info on.
I hope I helped.
Reply:photoshop should do it as I did it couple of years ago in my com tech class, then paste it into word and make the whole page full of it, but I remember that there was 1 or 2 tries before we got the line right. or maybe we just cut out the sides after printing.
Reply:you need to get a program for it. i dont know of any put u should go to www.download.com
Reply:Use word click on labels and mail, then labels and then options and you will see a drop down box. Scroll and you can locate it there.
If the size isn't there you can set up the size in the tabs with the mail and labels.
Hope that is clear.

How can i make sure my business cards print out correctly?
I'm making some business cards using microsoft word. but everytime i print them out, the print out cuts off. any suggestions on how i can make sure the image on the computer prints the same on the cards without cutting off. its very frustrating.
How can i make sure my business cards print out correctly?
What you can do is when you are ready to print, on the top tool bar, click on "Print Preview", and it will show you what you are about to print and what it will look like. If you have Microsoft Publisher, then use that for making business cards, its better.

Should I hold off on business cards when starting a new business?
Im a promoter and Im starting a promoting business booking bands in Florida. I created a resume and cover letter so I approach the owners of the club and try to book some bands for them. At least i want to look professional. I dont feel I should spend any money yet on professional business cards until I can at least get my first gig booking a band. What do u think?
I can get the free cheapo business cards at vistaprint.com...but that will downplay me. The backside of the card says "free cards at vista.com" Business owners will lose respect for me when they see that.
I think its best to walk into the club with an expensive suit and a cover letter and resume FIRST. If my business fails..then i have no money invested. Or should I get the free cheapo cards anyway and spend 7 bucks in shipping? I dont want to look cheap.
Should I hold off on business cards when starting a new business?
http://vistaprint.com all you have to do is pay for the shipping and get 250 cards. I did this for my wife's Avon stuff.
Reply:I have ordered business cards from Vista Print and they look pretty good for the price. You can pay little extra and they will remove the "free cards" thing on the back. They do look better than cards printed on an ink jet printer.
Reply:You have invested time and energy to look professional. Business cards will lend credibility to your business.
Cards are easier for club owners to keep and reference. The cards also are a way of advertising and making an impression. You can also give out cards when meeting someone by chance and your letter and resume are not available. Club owners any also pass your card along. Have you ever heard of someone passing along a resume?
Your card should include your name, company name, company service, city or area, business phone, cell phone and email.
ie; try to center the names place the numbers and area in the corners.

Reply:Business cards - you can get them prett inexpensive and just get a very thick cardstock with plain imprinting. No need to spend a lot on graphic design. As long as the cardstock is thick, it'll give the quality image you'd like to reflect. But, you definitely need business cards.
Reply:Get the cards. In fact get the best cards.
Your product is yourself and your ability to promote.
If you can't even get good business cards to promote yourself, no one is going to believe you can promote them well.
Reply:Business cards can be handed out quickly and casually where you won't have time to fumble for a letter or a brochure. They're small and discreet.
I wouldn't scrimp on the quality, either. If you want high-stakes clients, you'd better look like you can handle the money.
Reply:Getting some nice business cards is going to be worth the expense. As you've noted, cheap cards will "downplay" you. However, *no* cards would be even worse.
Be aware that you can deduct your business expenses!
Reply:1. if some person brought me a resume for a service, no offense, I'd laugh.
2. if a person showed up and by minute 2 I asked, got a card? and they said no, I'd laugh even harder.
3. key to biz is not "professional" as in college, resume, all straight type, etc, etc. Professional is nice clean clothes or uniform, professional biz cards, phone number that ALWAYS works, returning messages of any type within 24 hrs, etc. That is a professional business.
4. your best bet is to talk to bands you already know, ask where they have played before. Then ask for mgr's names, etc. Now you have an "in" as you have a name. Stop by, ask for "Mike", now they "think" you know him since you asked for him by name. Don't be too stiff.
When Mike comes, say, yea, "so in so" band recommended your club so I thought I would come talk to you about other business. Then let the convo flow from there.....

I am looking for a unique way to present a stack of discount cards (business card size)?
I am looking for a unique way to present small stacks of discount cards (stacks of 20 and 40) to businesses and points of contacts to distribute.
It should be:
Make them look more important/fun than a stack of business cards
Relatively Easy To Discard
Easy To Open
Can be recycled or something bought, but cheap

You can go to Avery.com and find the blank template for the business card stock you bought. Even if it is not Avery Brand, you can use the site.
Sometimes on the envelope the business card stock comes in, it will have an Avery number, even if it is not Avery brand.
Feel free to contact me if you need more help!

Does anyone know of an inexpensive laser printer that will print directly to business cards?
I need one that prints directly on individual business cards, not to a sheet of tear-offs. It needs to print nearly edge to edge on them as well. Ideally you would just stack them up like you do in an envelope feed.
Does anyone know of an inexpensive laser printer that will print directly to business cards?
My work use to print themselves, but the office figured it was getting pricy between ink %26amp; paper.
If you want the cheapest - your best bet it raised ink or if you want a step up its full color.
This is the company we use now;

Reply:Laser printers -- because of the way they transfer toner from the imaging drum to paper -- need a gripper edge (or two) so printing something as small as a business card would be a problem.

I have family who runs a local print shop for extreme high quality stuff, (been doing insane quality print AND design for all the biggest local businesses for 27 or so years) but they won't charge me and I hate being a mooch for every little thing that comes up - so I've tried some online alternatives and these guys are great quality for cheap.
Forget vistaprint.com - even for me it's the first name that comes up but accross 5 of my email accounts I get at least 1 spam email from them every day, if not more. Nobody wants to put money in the pockets of spammers.

Does anyone know how to get free or cheap business cards and stationary?
I'm starting a business and wanted to know if there's a way I can get free or less expensive business cards, letterheads, thank-you cards, etc.
Does anyone know how to get free or cheap business cards and stationary?

Reply:a cheap business cards will certainly go straight to the bin...0 call.
cards are another form of advertising, the right image, quality is important.
Reply:Yes, staples and those office supply companies
have software to make your own cards %26amp; stationary.
They even start you out with the precut sheets and all you have to do is punch out the business cards, according to size and how you printed them.
It's better to test them first on a piece of paper so you don't waste the heavier "card" paper that is pre-punched.
I used this many times, and you can change the info that's needed.
Don't forget to develop a web site as most business is now generated on the internet.
GOD bless.

Reply:If you can design them yourself using Publisher or similar graphics program, then take the disk to an Office Max or Office Depot, you can get them printed very economically. If you agree to cut the business cards yourself, its even cheaper. For instance, we designed some very attractive business cards for my husband and had 200 printed for less than $20.
Reply:Definitely go to vistaprint.com or search for it. They have a deal where you can get 200 business cards for free. And if you want to order some after that they are pretty reasonably priced. Check it out.
Reply:Blank cards purchased at the office supply store are great! We print are own when needed. All you need is a computer and color printer which you will need in any business anyway. There are several programs that let you design your own cards and letterheads. You can even add photos to most.
Reply:Utilize your computer and make your own.
Reply:I just wanted to second what lolly said. VistaPrint is good, you basically just pay for the shipping and get free cards. I haven't bought any of their other products but it looks like they've got lots of options.
Does anyone know how to get free or cheap business cards and stationary?
vistaprint.com
GOD bless.

What is the best program to use when printing out a bunch of info on business size cards?
Business card layout like most programs I've searched is not what I'm looking for, it is just a bunch of words on front and back of a business size card.
What is the best program to use when printing out a bunch of info on business size cards?
Corel Draw (I'm still using 8 and it works for me) is great for free style prepress. Version 5 or newer would work well on newer operating systems.
I also use CAD programs. Both are more flexible than word processing or cheap label/print suites. I have to set the layout manually on CAD, but I have the most freedom with doing a layout.

What do you know about business cards?
I'm trying to make a business card in word and I can't find how wide business cards are supposed to be, anyone know?
What do you know about business cards?
My advise is just to buy business cards. You can be really inexpensive. I have been getting mine from Vista Print for about 2 years. Saves a ton of time and they look so much better than the ones printed from home. I really like them. They also have tons of designs to choose from, and I think the first 250 are free.
The web site should be www.vistaprint.com
Reply:3.5 x 2 inches. You can download free templates for printing them out on Avery.com if you're just doing them yourself at home. They'll fit about 10 to a page.
Reply:I agree with others. They're too important and too inexpensive to do it yourself.
Reply:You can buy a program to make them at Staples, and the blank pages to make professional looking cards. It comes with instructions and a CD, under $10.00 usually.

If I get a real estate broker license and work from home, how do I hide my home address on my business cards?
If I get a broker license and register my own company but work from home (i.e. don't really have an office outside of my home), how do I hide my private residence address on my business cards? I don't want the whole world to know where I live.
Thanks!
If I get a real estate broker license and work from home, how do I hide my home address on my business cards?
If you don't want a po box (I don't agree that it doesn't look professional) get a box at a mail store, you have to call it a suite.
Beyond that my advice is to speak to a lawyer and the best, most inexpensive way to do this is through Pre-Paid Legal Services. For more information visit the website below, and feel free to contact me through that site if you have further questions on how this service may be able to help you. I encourage you to find out what your rights and options are in this situation.
I wish you the best of luck.

Reply:check state laws, in my state a broker can work from their home but must have name , address etc on business cards as well as all other material
Reply:get a mail box at a UPS Store. they will give you a street address with a suite number or office number.
Reply:You don't put it on.
Reply:Get a P.O. Box and use that for your address.
Reply:Get a post office box! Use that for your address.
Reply:In many states you can't legally withhold your business premises address from your various marketing materials. That's the risk of a home office.
You also need to check your local zoning laws to see if this is even legal to do. Many jurisdictions prohibit any commercial activities in areas zoned for residential use. Some of these are strict enough to even prohibit any vehicles with commercial markings from being parked outside your home.
From a purely business perspective, successful real estate brokers are a high-visibility presence in the community. Hiding away in a home office with no way for the public to locate you is a recipe for disaster. In the mind of the public you'd be trying to hide something and that won't build public trust at all!
You should consult with an attorney before proceeding with any of this. If you're going into the real estate business you're going to be dealing with attornies a lot, so you might as well get started on it now.
Reply:Get a PO Box for business.
Reply:Check your state regulations on real estate brokerages.
For example, in Illinois, it is law that your office address and phone number must be published in any marketing materials, including business cards.
If you work with a brokerage, their office address should go on your cards. If you want to open up your own brokerage, again, check your local regs, because certain areas require use of a regular business address and do not permit home offices as a base office.
Reply:Get a Post Office box and use that address instead.
Thanks!

Does anyone know of a free website or program to print business cards on my home computor?
I'm looking to be able to print my own business cards at home, when needed, as I only need a small amount and would like to design them myself. would appreciate any help anyone could give me.
Does anyone know of a free website or program to print business cards on my home computor?
From your start menu go to all programs. There you will find Windows Works Task Launcher.
You can do many things here including design%26amp; print business cards.
Reply:Go to www.downloads.com and search for OfficePrinter 2 or Business Card Designer Plus 8.5.1 , they are pretty good business card design tools. Be sure to use at least 160gsm paper but i prefer 240gsm on a laser printer. If you use inkjet the cards usually smudge!
Reply:You can design your own free biz cards from
http://www.vistaprint.com
but you will have to pay for shipping.
Reply:If you use the Microsoft Office suite Microsoft offers a variety of templates here http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/result... that work with Word and Publisher.
Reply:Usually microsoft 2000 has some good buissiness card techniques try that and then go into a computer store and see what the've got.

Where can I buy Spongebob Squarepants business cards?
I am a big fan of SBSP and I wanted to know if Nickelodeon or his creator have business cards featuring him, b/c I would definitely buy it. I know credit cards feature popular logo's and character's and I would like to get some cards that do the same. Great conversation starter.

Where to get your business cards printed?
I am a professional graphic designer and I created my own business cards but I'm not sure where to get those printed. My cards have cutouts on it and i don't know of a place that would cut the cards in the middle where my logo will be place
Example: Instead of having my logo printed in ink i want it to be stamped out of my card so you can see through the card.
Where to get your business cards printed?
The process is called "die cut." Just look up the numbers of commercial printers in the phone book to find the ones that can do this. Most of those "quick print," "500 cards for $15" won't have the equipment to do this. You need to find a real, professional commercial printer to do this job, and it WILL cost you.
Reply:Actual printers, not Kinkos or Office Depot, can do this for you. They'd be listed under 'printers' in the phone book.

Does anyone know where I can get free business cards with free shipping?
I don't want to give out my card # and am running a non profit organization. It's a non profit adaptive ski program. We work with people with disabilites and teach them how to ski. The organization is small and we don't have much money but I'd like to have some business cards to get the word out. If you have any ideas I would very much appreciate it! Thanks!!

Many church groups are associated and have semi regular meetings people with disabilities.
Perhaps check with the local county areas and call the churches.
I would stay local, that way the area knows you and what you are doing, and visa-versa.
good luck

They will give you your first 200, I think, free. You design your own and then become a catalog receipient. Decent prices.

I have run a non profit before, and it should be in your budget. Not being harsh, but for the type of organization, there won't be a need for a lot of cards, so pay the $2.50 for vista to put their logo on the back of 500 cards.
You could also make your own cards on your computer and printer, but my way saves time, and money.

Recommendations for a printing company for business cards and brochures - cheap but quality?
I need a thousand business cards maybe more if the price is good and say 200 brochures (5 pages long or so- in colour)

Can you be successful without putting your picture on business cards?
Can a real estate agent be successful without placing his face on business cards, website, shopping carts lol etc....?
Can you be successful without putting your picture on business cards?
It's very popular to put your face along with name and cell number on everything. It's the difference between branding and marketing.
You want to build a brand name for yourself as a Realtor. That means that every bit of advertising needs to include the same things. Mostly it's your pic. However, if you don't want to put your face, it could be a logo or another pic such as a luxury home.
It does seem a bit cheesy, but it does work. You need to separate yourself from the other real estate agents. You do this by branding.
Reply:Put a picture of you're pet on the card instead. If you don't have a pet, put a picture of a cute little doggie anyway.
Reply:Only put it on there if you're at least half as handsome as I. Otherwise, you may scare them off.
Reply:You put your photo onthe card to help people remember you later in the week when they pull out your card and try to remember which agent you were. Of course with a name like triple nipple, you probably won't have that problem...
... or maybe there's a more compelling reason to include a photo of the 3rd nip!
Reply:Certainly. Just put 2% sellers realtor fee on there.
Reply:I have refinanced my home 4 times since I bought it. Only one person had his pic on his card.
Besides most people find agents over the net and I know they don't show pic there.
Reply:Don't do it if you don't want to. No other business does this but real estate. I don't understand why. The biggest thing in the ads is not the houses, but the agent's picture. I think it is unprofessional.
Reply:The only place I think it's sutable to have your picture is for modelling and acting.... otherwise... it's all about business.

Has anyone tried to use business cards to advertise their website?
I'd like to try putting business cards - with just my website on them - on cars like Toyota Prius's and Smart cars and other fuel efficient vehicles like scooters while I'm out walking the dog.
Has anyone tried to use business cards to advertise their website?
Ryan that's an excellent way to get your name out.
I have always recommended to people to get a pre-inked stamp and when they park their car to stamp some blank cards and stick them in windshields.
You'll wait a lifetime for Google or Yahoo to get your site high enough to matter. Besides the fact that if what you do is mostly local type stuff then it only makes sense to go after local people.
Reply:It's pretty easy to print up your own calling cards/business cards at home on your own printer - just buy a box of blanks at your local office supply store, print, and then perforate!
http://www.avery.com/us/Main?action=prod...
For an example of what one Toyota Prius owner hands out regarding his website dedicated to the car:

Reply:Good idea, many people forget to promote your business offline.you can meet people in your local area (groups about your business and share ideas)

The best way is to copy it into buffer ( Alt + PrintScreen) and insert in any graphical package. PhotoShop for example.
Than save in 300 dpi and print it.

Plastic business cards with discounts on back?
I'm looking for a business card company who designs plastic cards with discounts on the back to local restaurants, shops, etc. I'm a Realtor in Jacksonville, Florida. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
Plastic business cards with discounts on back?
I can print your cards on a synthetic paper stock (equivilent to 10pt cardstock)...it feels a bit like plastic and takes wear and tear very good.
alternatives would be a 15pt or 16 pt stock which is UV coated...this would be your best looking card.
rounded corners is also an option

What are the laws of using pictures from artists on the internet as the background on my business cards?
I've found some pictures on the internet drawn by certain artists. I'd like to use them as background for my business cards?
What are the laws of using pictures from artists on the internet as the background on my business cards?
hi, you must ask the owner from the picture... or take a photo from a license-free website.
regards
nepomuk
Reply:IF the images are copyright, then you can't use them.
If the artist themself is alive, then you'd have to contact them (or their "agent") for permission.
Legally speaking, as it were.
There is something called fair use. However, fair use is void when used for a profit motive. Your business card is used to get you business, which is for profit.
If you are somehow making money off of (even in the slightest) giving out a business card with their art on it... then you are violating fair use.

Where can I have printed Business Cards with rounded corners?
Hi. I would like to have some business cards printed. I like the rounded corners I see. I'd also like to have full color printing and on the back too. Any recomendations? I don't mind just emailing the file to a place and have them print and ship it. I'm in California if that matters. Any recomendations?

Aside from rounded corners, which will definately set your card apart, have you thought about foil stamping? or using unique paper?
Reply:The site recommended is probably good. But any print shop should be able to give you rounded corners.
Technically speaking most printing cards are produced on a sheet of 4 or more and cut apart after printing. Then rounding the corners is just a simple process of cutting off the corners. In the old days (prior to 1960 or so) a lot of cards were printed singularly. And rounded corners just required using precut rounded corners.
Don't know what business you're in but cards with mileages, first aid hints, etc. on the back are well received and people tend to keep them a long time.
If you use plain printing I would suggest colored paper. Customers tend to remember them better.

Where can I find cheap or free business cards?
I would like to go to the store and get them like hallmark or kinko's. do they do business cards there. and how much are they.
I have a lot of interviews this weekend and next week and want to have them for my interviews.
Where can I find cheap or free business cards?
I've got some links for free business cards (you only have to pay shipping), but it takes 2-3 weeks to get them.
If you need them that quickly, you will need to print them yourself...

How do I print business cards on a Lexmark z645?
Everytime I print the cards only 1 card prints. I tried to set up the cardstock but it gives many options for different paper size for the size business cards I want to print. I am unsure of which option to select. I have 10 cards per sheet, 3 1/2 x 2 (standard size) Heavyweight cover stock buisness cards. Can you please help to tell me what I am doing wrong and to assist me?
How do I print business cards on a Lexmark z645?
Easiest way out would be creat multiple image of your card in one page and then fire printout.
Reply:It might be a software problem. If you're using Publisher, you have to open the "Change Copies Per Sheet" dialog box from the "Print" dialog box, its a button on the lower left side. In the "Change Copies.." dialog box check to see if "Print one copy per sheet" is checked. If it is, change it to "Print multiple copies per sheet". The side margin should be .75 inches and the top should be .5 inches and there should be no horizontal or vertical gaps.

Is there a site where I can design my own business cards?
I would like to design my own business cards and print'em my self. If anyone knows where to go online or a software I can use to do it?
Is there a site where I can design my own business cards?
http://staples.marktheworld.com
It is Staples' printing service. They are cheap, quick and a much higher quality than Vista Print. You can choose from a variety of colors, paper stocks, engraved printing, etc. You can import logos and see how they look online. I use them for personal cards as well as professional business cards. I use the linen stock and it is still under $30 for 1000 cards.
Remember that in addtion to the cost of the cards for the print-at- home kits you are also using up ink and the edges never look really well done. Use a service, it will be cheaper and more professional in the long run.

You can design your own business cards and be sure get your free business cards first.
Reply:You can try print shop or microsoft office publisher i have done my own business cards on both.
Reply:Google "free business card design" and many choices will pop up. Some offer free printing (VistaPrint?) but tag an advertisement at the bottom back of the card. I have used Excel and Word in the past with decent results and taken them to OfficeMax for printing and it worked fine. It usually cost around $30 for 250 cards there. You can visit www.cootext.com and generate a logo for free to "insert the image" into your Word or Excel card design file. After you create a logo at cooltext.com that you like, right click over the image and save it to your desktop to find it easily.
Reply:Don't know of any because there may be copyrights on some of the logos. You may want to see if your can use your word processing software and even Publisher.
Reply:The cheapest way to do your own cards is on microsoft word or works. Im sure that you have these programs, and then go to wallmart and buy like 5000 bussiness card for like $10 and then just print it .. That is the cheapest way..
Reply:Try Vistaprint.com they offer business card cheap. I got 1500 cards for $11.99

If you are going to make it big with your business...then producing a professional looking item representing your company, is an absolute must.
You start handing out home-made material and people aren't going to touch your business with a ten foot pole.
At this point, understandably, you don't have the funds for such a thing...so if you must print your own...I suggest doing a very small quantity...just enough to get you by till you can lay out $$ for a professional image.

There are also some good business card marketing tips there.
Reply:Print them yourself.
You can design them in word or many similar programs (or find a template on the net) then print them out using your inkjet and carefully cut them out.
Reply:You can go to your local office supply store and get some pre-cut business cards. These 8½ x 11 sheets will get you 10 cards per sheet.
Of course, they're not as professional looking as factory-printed cards. You could get 250 Free business cards from Vistaprint. You'd only have to pay for shipping. It's not more than $10.

I'd like to make business name cards. I find lots of websites where I can design my business cards online and order. Has anybody tried ordering business card online? Are they trustworthy?

Yes, there are sites that will do that, but if the cost is significantly less than a local print shop, chances are there will be advertising on the back of the card. Check it out carefully ... Nothing says "cheap" more than passing out a card that has advertising for someone else on it.

Where do you find avon business cards?
I just started selling Avon and I want official looking business cards to pass out. I thought my adviser said the company makes them, but I can't find them on the website. Is there a fast way to get to them?
Where do you find avon business cards?
Go to your local Office supply store and buy blank business cards, use some things from your avon link and make your own on yoru computer. To add a great touch and keep your customers coming back (as I own a home business too) invest in the sticky magnet sheets and make your cards into magnets. It is cheaper than ordering from the company I promise. And you can make yours look just like theirs or customize them to what you like best!! Good luck
Reply:They should be somewhere in your back office on your website.
If you can't find it I would highly recommend Vista Print. I have my cards made through them and they are quality cards and they even run specials where you just pay for shipping and the cards are free.
They also offer many other things like postcards, brochures, stamps, etc...

Reply:Yes there is a faster way to get them...
I suggest that you make your own business cards yourself or you can also look online for deals on business cards.
I myself have used Vista Prints and I got 250 business cards for free but I had to pay for shipping and handling which was about $8 dollars.
The catch is that they display their ad on the back of the cards if you choose this deal, which I didn't mind at the time.
I'm pretty sure there are some other deals out there and all you have to do is research.
And if you can do them yourself, you'll save lots of money.
Good luck!

They also offer many other things like postcards, brochures, stamps, etc...

Good luck!

What sort of agency info needs to be on acting business cards?
I'm making a business card for acting and i was wondering what else needs to be on the cards besides agency phone, email, fax, address, name, zip, and web site.
What sort of agency info needs to be on acting business cards?
Looks like you got the main info but I would add a logo or picture that represents your business for a decorative touch
Reply:How about:
1. Something explaining the roles you would be interested in.
2. A compelling reason for someone to choose you over someone else.
HTH and have a great day!

What is your best advice about business cards?
I am thinking of starting a small side business and am going to be printing some business cards. Actually will be having them printed probably but I was going to go with cream background and a daisy on the corner and then my information. This will be for a at home transcription service. I think it is quite fun and tasteful
What is your best advice about business cards?
The "free" VistaPrint cards are if you agree to have their logo on the back of them. The stock is light and cheap and the registration (placement of the text and images relative to the edges of the card) is horrible. There also seems to be some issues with extra credit card charges appearing on people's bills for some kind of "rewards" program.
Never ever ever.
My best advice for you is to take your cards somewhere other than a big-box store, who tend to only carry Domtar in 65-pound cover stock, which isn't heavy enough for business cards although they insist that it is. You want 80-lb/12-point or heavier. Twelve-point stock coated on two sides, for a slight sheen finish, is a good stock for cards.
If your daisy is going to be white, a print shop with a good digital colour machine can print a cream background and leave the daisy white, which will make it really pop off the page. Ask for some test prints to make sure the cream solid doesn't look mottled (it shouldn't, but different equipment produces different results), and if you don't love it, find somewhere else.
I'm going on and on about this because it's so important to have a card you're proud of. Your business and your design sound great.
Reply:Hello my friend,
Business cards are definitely the way to go.
I know what it like to start a business, you have to watch your expenses.

Reply:Sounds cute. Spend the extra money to have them professionally done (not printed on your home printer). Cards printed on ink jet look totally sloppy -- not the kind of image your trying to portray for your business.

Where can I find a guide for cutting business cards?
I'm printing my own business cards. Where can I find a guide online for cutting them? (They aren't printed on any special paper that might come with a cutting guide.)
Where can I find a guide for cutting business cards?
Instead of cutting business cards apart, print them on Avery business card stock (Avery 27871). One package has 20 sheets, each producing 10 cards.
According to the package, "Ultra-fine perforations separate heavyweight stock cleanly." I use these, and the cards separate so cleanly without noticeable perforated edges.
Reply:instead of worrying about cutting them properly, why not just buy the print your own 500 business cards for @$6 bucks at any office supply store.
this way when you cut them, they dont look like you did it with a paper cutter, and they have an authentic feel and look to them.
If you want to be taken seriously you have to appear professional.
If you want to look like a small time out of your house business that people are going to be wary off the moment they see your self cut business cards, then do it yourself.

How do I find people who need business cards?
I am a designer in Kansas City who creates full color business cards, but I just don't know HOW to sell them to businesses. I go door to door to each business (hair salons, bakerys, Car Dealerships, etc.) Pretty much every store on the block.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I walk in, show them my business card compared to theirs, and explain that they are really inexpensive and personalized. I've only sold about 8 card designs in 3 months. WHY CAN'T I SELL MORE!!
It's not the designs either because people are awed by my previously made cards.
HELP PLEASE!!
How do I find people who need business cards?
Perhaps people aren't buying because, no matter how impressed they are with your product, they already have a supplier who meets their needs.
Thus, I suggest marketing to NEW business owners - through local business owners groups, young professionals organizations, and your community's Better Business Bureau.
Also - try putting your business on www.whitepages.com and be sure to include a tag line in your ad.
Lastly, advertise on Craig's List.
Reply:You are selling to people who already have business cards. That's like going to McDonald's and trying to sell Whoppers. And telling people that your cards are better than the ones they have, well its simply insulting. They made a decision that they are probably happy with and you are criticizing them. Who'd want to do business with you after that? I don't doubt your talents and I certainly appreciate your efforts to see your busines succeed. To that I wish you every success. Its your sales pitch that needs improving. There are many books on the subject. I personally recommend works by Zig Ziegler. It's old, but highly effective. And you didn't mention price. I just purchased 1000 business cards on line for less than $20 which I designed myself (and yes, I am a qualified graphic artist). Can you be as competitive? Work on your sales angle and you might see more positive response. Good luck!
Reply:Why don't you try placing an ad in the business classifieds? You can reach more people this way. You could put a different sample in the ad evey week. Try it and I hope it works. Good luck!
