Does anyone know of some basic rules for the psychology behind logos / fonts / colours (particularly colour) used in letterheads / business cards, etc?
I'm trying to design something to use in my conservative business which is legal industry based, but I'm not sure where to start.
Any ideas?

go to the internet and look for the Color Test. it provides you with the definitions/psychology of each color.

Start with a professional who's been educated and has experience using color as it relates to visual/graphic communications.
We'll leave the legal things to you, so why not leave the logo/graphic design to us.
