I just got my company business cards and my job title is not on it. Is this normal or unprofessional?

I think it makes me look very unprofessional.

I'm no CEO, but if I'm handing out my business card, I want people to know my title.

Is it normal to not have a title on your business card?

Does it make me look unprofessional?

The card doesn't make you look unprofessional but your whining about it does.
Reply:Look at it in a positive manner. They did not list your job title, because they expect you to rise in the company quickly and do not want to reprint cards for you every time you get a promotion.

If this is a real issue for you, Perhaps you can have your job title printed on them on your own dime.

Good luck.
Reply:Were you given a proof before they were printed? If not I would ask your boss what the company standard is. If all employees go without titles just roll with it. If most have titles, have the cards printed over.
Reply:I agree that your job title is usually printed on the business card somewhere.

I would ask you supervisor / manager about it. Maybe it was an oversight during printing?

Every business card I ever had listed my job title on it.
